Janice got into the real estate industry in 1982 as a sales associate for Coldwell Banker Phyllis Rubin Real Estate. After acquiring her associate broker's license she became a branch manager and a trainer for the company. In 1992 she was sent to a management retreat in New Jersey where she met Nick Kavounas, also a real estate associate broker. Janice moved to the Lehigh Valley to join Nick's firm, Coldwell Banker Heritage Real Estate in 1992 and the two were married in 1993. Janice served as a manager, trainer and, at one time, the advertising director. She currently is the vice president of operations overseeing the accounting department, facility operations and HR. In addition to this, she is the administrator of Lehigh Valley Real Estate Institute, responsible for course development, scheduling and general administration. She also teaches from time to time. Janice is the mother of two, Alex who is 24 and Melissa who is deceased from cancer and heart disease. She is an outdoors kind of gal and enjoys time spent with family, traveling, camping, hiking, skiing and cooking. She serves on the Board of Directors for St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church and is the Treasurer of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Task Force in the Lehigh Valley.

Tom brings 32 years of real estate experience to the classroom. He has specialized in commercial real estate for the majority of his career. Tom is a Former President of Eastern NORTHAMPTON Association of Realtors® and was involved in the merger of the three associations into the Lehigh Valley Association of Realtors®. He is the President of the Nancy Run Volunteer Fire Department in Bethlehem Township and President of his condominium association. He has received the C-21 Masters Club, Multi-Million Dollar Producer award, Two PAR Excellence Awards and was Realtor ® of the year in 1993. When Tom is not working with his clients or volunteering at the Fire Department he enjoys a nice day on the golf course.

Deb is the primary instructor for our pre-licensing classes. She was previously a full time Realtor ® and Relocation Specialist and has been in the business since 1999 helping buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in the buying and renting processes. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of real estate by educating new students who are looking to become real estate professionals. Her students success is what motivates her. Deb is married to Bryon and they have 7 children and 10 grandchildren. In her spare time outside the office Debby likes to travel, sight see, spend time with family and enjoys walking. She is passionate about the many volunteer positions that she holds. She also holds a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice as well as her Medical Assistant Certification.

Mr. Lisicky has a B.S. in accounting from the University of Scranton and a Master of Taxation from Villanova University. His education has been supplemented by various continuing education courses offered by a variety of professional organizations. He has spoken before professional and educational groups on various aspects of business valuation, litigation consulting, taxation and economic damages. Licenses: Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania EMPLOYMENT/EXPERIENCE: Mr. Lisicky has provided a wide array of accounting, tax and consulting services to clients. Mr. Lisicky has testified on numerous occasions in arbitrations and depositions. Mr. Lisicky has taught for Penn State University and other professional organizations. Mr. Lisicky provides valuation services to a wide range of clients in the following industries: medical, construction, professional services, manufacturing, trucking and real estate. He is a recognized expert in valuation by Lehigh, Northampton and Monroe counties in PA and Morris County in New Jersey. Mr. Lisicky's employment experience includes Price Waterhouse in their audit and tax departments. Kathie comes to our school with 32+ years of title insurance experience. She is the manager of Associated Abstract Services since 1987 where she has gained a reputation for her vast knowledge of title law as well as efficient and accurate settlements. Prior to this, she worked for several attorneys, specializing in real estate and title. Kathie holds a Title Insurance License & a PA Real Estate License. She has completed the PLTA’S title insurance courses.

A second generation, Realtor, Bill Stoerrle became licensed in 1977 and received his broker’s license in 1981. Shortly after receiving his broker’s license he purchased Key Realty and moved his office from 13322 Center Street to 1931 W Broad Street in Bethlehem were he still conducts his business. Bill opened his second office in Bangor Pennsylvania in the mid 80’s. In 1982 Bill received his Pennsylvania Real Estate Instructors license. Bill has presented seminars at the National Association of Realtors Conventions, he continues to teach both on a national and local level. Throughout his real estate career, he has earned many designations. He was awarded the GRI designation from the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors. The Realtors National Marketing Institute bestowed upon Bill the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and the Certified Real Estate Broker (CRB) designations. In addition, Bill has been awarded the following designations in the appraisal field: International Certified Appraiser - (ICA), Certified Commercial Real Estate Appraiser – (CCRA), Certified Real Estate Appraiser – (CREA) from the International Organization of Real Estate Appraisers and the Senior Certified Property Appraiser – (SCPA) from the National Association of Appraisers Bill began his appraisal career in 1982. In 1990 Mr. Stoerrle earned the prestigious SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute and continues to maintain its high educational and ethical requirements that exceed state certification. Bill has held many positions in the Appraisal Institute. He was on the Ethics and Counseling committee for the northeastern portion of the United States for the Appraisal Institute. He has been named to the Who’s Who in Professional Real Estate Appraisals. Bill has sat on my committees and been a board of director for many years.
